FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q:  What is the cost if I want to create my own HTML, and just have you host my pages?
A:  There is a flat fee of $250 for annual domain name hosting, and that includes 5Meg of server space.  If you have your own FTP client, we will provide setup for you to create and maintain your own web pages, so you can update them yourself at any time.

Q:  How much will it cost if I want to provide weekly or monthly updates?
A:  Depending on the type of updates, we can work out an annual contract, for weekly or monthly updates at $25/each.  This is for simple text updates alone.  Major updates, including updating pictures, additional or redesigned pages, or updates to multiple pages will be slightly higher, depending on effort required to implement.

Q:  What do you use to create pages?
A:  We use both raw HTML and Java, but try to keep it simple for efficient loading (when HTML can be used, it can often be coded much more efficiently).

Q:  Can you teach me to make my own pages?
A:  Sure -- we'd be happy to provide instruction to help you use Netscape Composer (free software) to create your own pages.  It's easy and WYSIWYG (pronouced WIZZI-WIG -- What You See Is What You Get).  You "paint" your screen, and that's exactly how it appears online!  For a nominal fee ($20/hour), either Gregory or I will give you a hands-on tutorial (it shouldn't take more than an hour).
